Alright so I have been a lurker for a long time taking stock photography from this site and attempting to vectorize it only to be reduced to a crying shell of a man. I will admit I am just not an artist. I like to sit down and get things done in one sitting and if I can't get it just the way I want it to be the first time around, then it just seems like futile attempts at something I am just not tailored to do.

So for the past few years I have been trying to do vector images and always get frustrated and give up halfway through. My external drive is filled with .PSDs of failed attempts and I am kind of tired of TRYING and never completing so I vow to myself that I will have some submissions on this account by the end of the month. I am done (I use that term lightly) two-ish vectors and I am well on my way to my third. This is a breakthrough for myself I must admit. Once I do eventually post these items I will give credit where credit is due and thank people and post on their walls that I have used their image in the butchering that is my artwork.

Anyways, that is enough about me and pseudo art "career." I am 22 years old, live in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada and I attend Dalhousie University. I am going into the final year of my BSc Chemistry and I am weighing my options in what career path I wish to pursue (this is a fancy way of saying I am running out of time to determine what I want to do with my life). To be honest right now I just enjoy continuing my education and being a leech on society.

I love getting a cheque (yes, I am indeed Canadian, or should I say not American?) in the mail each year for a gigantic amount just for the fact that I WANT to go to school. I realize I am building up debt and that it isn't free money, but it just makes me feel good that I can keep getting money as long as I don't stop my education. Career student? Possibly.

Anyways. That is me. My views on my art and life.
